This workshop offers participants time to deepen their practice through movement, reflection, and discussion. After a brief discussion on purpose and presence in practice, Roderick will lead a more extensive asana practice to enrich participants’ connections to their body, yoga practice, and self-love. This special workshop is for all, beginners to more advanced practitioners will benefit from it.

Let’s tap into that feel-good energy of the sun and revitalize our sleepy winter bodies by kicking off this season with 30 days of movement.
What is Modo Moves?
Modo Moves begins on April 1st and is a 30-day community wide movement challenge that encourages you to move your body every single day in a way that feels good to you! Take a Modo class we recommend 3-5 times a week) and on the days you can’t make it into the studio, aim for 30 minutes a day of dancing while you vacuum, riding your bike (bonus points if it is to and from the studio!), playing pickelball with a friend, playing tag with your kids, or taking a walk on a nearby trail. The options are endless!
However you choose to move, you’ll get to put a checkmark on your studio challenge board for each day that you intentionally move your body.

A four week session created specifically for kids. Join Natalie for this fun Kids Young Yogi journey in our non-heated room Sundays April 7th-28th!
There are two sessions for 2 age groups:
Ages 4-6: 10am-11am
Ages 6-8: 1pm-2pm
And parents, don’t worry – we haven’t forgotten about you! Feel free to practice right next door in the heated room while your little one is finding their own type of zen ๐

Welcoming to all, from those who have never meditated to more experienced practitioners, the Buddhist Meditation Sangha aims to provide a supportive community space to practice meditation and explore the teachings of Buddhism.
Mike began his Buddhist path 20 years ago when he stumbled upon the teachings of Vietnamese Zen monk Thich Nhat Hahn. Since then he has attended meditation groups, retreats and dharma talks from monks and nuns of many traditions, including the Thai forest Tradition, Burmese Theravada, Japanese Soto Zen, Tibetan Buddhism and Korean Seon.
Mike hopes to share his explorations and help guide others toward the traditions and teachers that speak most strongly to them, so that they too may enrich their own practice or begin one anew.
