Becky has always had an interest in yoga and began practicing casually soon after graduating high school. However, during her intro month at Moksha Stratford she felt a connection and change within her. Right away she was drawn to the Moksha community and joined the Energy Exchanger Program. Over the next year her practice deepened along with her connection to the community. She was incredibly inspired and touched by her yoga teachers, and when her life took a sharp left turn, she decided the timing was right to share this inspiration and apply to teacher training. Becky attended Level 1 Moksha training in Kelowna, British Columbia in July 2015, and is proud to call MYS her home studio. Becky is a huge advocate of self love, acceptance and positive body image, and she hopes to help her students discover this power within themselves through their yoga practice, both on and off the mat. Becky is also proud to be a Registered Practical Nurse, so in her classes you can often expect her to draw on this medical and anatomical background and maybe learn a thing or two about your beautiful body. Carrying the belief in gratitude and love to everyone she meets, Becky sees teaching as a way to spread love into the world and to share the power of yoga with everyone along her journey.
